Dutch steel river cruiser
6ft head height in the wheelhouse
5ft6 head height in the front cabin
Looking like a little determined motor cruiser in some Nordic Noir murder drama based in a fishing village, Emmelyn is bursting with character. She’s probably going to be someone’s first boat, and there are a few very good reasons why this should be the case:
It looks like she was stored out of the water off-season, so her hull is fantastic There’s a well-maintained and reliable Peugeot Indenor diesel engine (slow enough in low revs for the canals, beefy enough for the Thames or calmer coastal conditions)
She is small and easy to drive, turn, moor, take through the locks, drive through central London, dock in a pontoon
She’s configured really beautifully so that you have an outside sun-deck without losing an inch of space inside
Yes she needs some love (don’t we all?), but with a good engine and hull, it’s time she’s craving more than money.
There’s a Webasto heater installed, an inverter, stereo, fridge, sink, hob and a steel gas locker. There’s even a binopy over that sun-deck so you can take some shade while you sip a cocktail.
Will you be the one to take this pretty little ship into the sunset? We will lift her for free for you to get a survey, before she goes, we will do the blacking, attach new anodes, close off the sea toilet (if required) and we can deliver anywhere in mainland UK (call for a quote). There are always lots of boats for sale here at Hemel Marina. We work very hard to keep the website updated, but often there will be boats here that you can’t find online.
