This little Dutch barge is from the The Kaag Lakes, or Kagerplassen in the Netherlands. They are a network of lakes, rivers, and canals located south of Amsterdam with famously shallow banks, as such these Kagenaar barges are shallow drafted and therefore ideal for the inland waterways of the UK.

If you’re looking for something much brighter than a narrowboat, this is the one you’ve been looking for. Huge windows bring natural light flooding in, joining up your home with the natural beauty of the waterways outside.

The hull is in fair condition. It has been over-plated below the waterline to give the vessel extra longevity. If you buy one of our boats and want to have a survey done, we do not charge for lifting. If there are minor issues post-survey in most cases we go ahead and repair them without charging, as long as it is economically viable for us.

The diesel inboard engine is in great running order, she’s a delight to drive, even if you’re new to this.
